Corrections Policy
We work hard to get every fact right. When we make a mistake, we correct it quickly and openly.
How to report an error
Email [email protected] or use our contact form. Please include the article link, the information you believe is wrong, and, if possible, a source for the correct information.
How we correct
- Factual errors (wrong name, number, date, place) are fixed in the article, and a correction note is added at the end of the article explaining what was changed and when.
- Minor errors such as spelling or grammar mistakes are fixed without a note.
- Significant errors that change the meaning of the story are corrected with a note at the top of the article.
- If an article cannot be corrected because its basis was wrong, we may remove it and explain why.
Updates
When new information becomes available in a developing story, we update the article and change the “updated” date shown on it. Updates are not treated as corrections.
We aim to review every correction request within 48 hours.
